Songwon Culture Foundation
In 1963, Dongkuk Steel relocated main plant from Busan to Pohang and donated special profit of 10 billion. In recognition of such work, Songwong Cultural Foundation was established in December, 1996 in order to give back to the local community.
The first project was in 1998, supporting 379 youths in middle schools, high schools and universities in Busan with scholarships. We also sponsored book cost and research funds for organizations and schools. From beyond, the foundation has been expanding scholarship support with Dongkuk Steel and conducting various volunteering activities
Since 2004, we have been sponsoring students majoring in science from Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, Incheon and other regions annually, and conducting various events and activities to support seniors who live alone and our neglected neighbors. We also operate Songwon Art Center and expand cultural art support.

③ Anybody is not allowed to use the e-mail address without permission, which is clearly specified as prohibition act according to the rule section 1 and 2, for sending information.
